This board is made of blue resin and highly figured applewood. The wood was cut down from a locally dying tree. The board is 4 3/4″ by 8″ measuring at 7/16″ thick and features a cut out handle. This board serves well as a show piece for small amounts of snacks or can be used as a small chopping board. This board has been finished with many coats of mineral oil, in order to saturate the wood, and a mix of carnauba and bees wax to seal it. This board is water resistant but should not go in the washing machine. To properly wash, rinse with warm soapy water and dry off with towel.
