A 13″ by 8 – 8 3/4″ live edge applewood charcuterie and cutting board at 1/2″ thick. There is a live edge on both sides and the board is book matched. This means a thicker slab was cut in half depth wise, making two boards with nearly identical figuring. Then, those two boards are glued together making a symmetrical grain figuration. This board has been finished with many coats of mineral oil, in order to saturate the wood, and a mix of carnauba and bees wax to seal it. This board is water resistant but should not go in the washing machine. To properly wash, rinse with warm soapy water and dry off with a towel.
